JORGE’S AMBITION
JORGE ESTUARDO SIS RODRÍGUEZ
Here in my community it is very hot. Where I live is flat. Our house is near my uncles and brothers, very close, just up on the big hill, I climb it to plant corn and bring firewood.
My house is made of adobe, it has three rooms, a kitchen made of wood, it has a patio, there is light, it has a well since there is no water, nearby there are trees and animals such as: chickens, dogs, ducks, pigs, cows, horses and bulls.
My father's name is Jorge Sis Olmino, he works in the department of Escuintla and my mother's name is María Camila Sis, every day she makes tortillas so that we can eat, I have eight brothers and sisters, their names are: Cristian, Misael, Neftaly , Claudia, Lorena, Delia, Lilian and Alba, some of my brothers work and others are studying.
In the morning I get up very early I thank God for that day, I bathe and eat three tortillas at breakfast, at 6:40 a.m. I walk to school accompanied by my brothers and sisters, as it is a little removed school of my house. I am very happy to go to school because I want to improve and learn more to read and write.
At recess time I play soccer with my friends, also at recess time I buy cookies and jelly, and I invite my classmates. After school I help my parents to do the things that come around the house and then I do the homework that they leave me in school and if I do not have any, I read my book the sower that my father has bought for me. At night I brush my teeth and at 9 o'clock at night I go to sleep, but before I sleep I thank God for one more day of life.
