Today’s students.
Tomorrow’s leaders.

Growing in Latin america

Dedicated to change.

Global Learning Exchange Initiative started as a great idea in 2013. Within a year, that idea had evolved into a literacy kit, an excellent curriculum and one classroom in Guatemala.

See how Open Books, Open Minds is impacting the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders in classrooms with GLXi teachers. They are outperforming their peers in key indicators of literacy, authoring and illustrating books, and learning with teachers who are committed to growing with them.

“The GLXi program contributed and enriched the journey to achieve the goals set for this school year. Each session and training provided new knowledge. As a teacher, I appreciate the opportunity to have participated and the support for Guatemalan education."

– Heidy Telón, Mixco, Guatemala
