Teacher Book Asks Children to Be Problem Solvers

What do you do when confronted with a problem? Especially when it is a problem that puts others in harm’s way?

If you are Super Frog Rina, you spring into action! (Frog pun intended).

We were delighted by this digital children’s book created by GLXi teacher Brenda Valladares as part of her 2021 curriculum training. Hers was one of two top teacher books that were chosen to be read at graduation – and when you listen to her reading, we think you will see why!

What we loved about this book is it sets such a good example for kids.

It teaches them about close knit communities, and how sharing and caring are an integral part of those communities (not unlike many of the villages in which GLXi students live!).

It also teaches them to protect our planet, and all of the people and creatures that live on it.

And if not everybody shares the same values? Well, that’s when you don your super hero cape and remind them of why these things are important! Even if you face rejection along the way, you stick to your message. Eventually, the right person will hear it.

This tale of perseverance and gumption had us grinning from ear to ear. (Do frogs have ears?) We hope you enjoy it!
