Demand for teacher training surges in Guatemala’s Quiché
This year, Global Learning Exchange Initiative (GLXiⓇ) received a record number of teacher applications from the region of Quiché – 120 – far exceeding any other region that we serve. Did you know that an estimated one out of every seven kids worldwide struggle with dyslexia? GLXiⓇ teachers know this, because they have experienced its prevalence firsthand. They thus exhibited a palpable excitement as they participated in our recent teacher workshop – teaching to dyslexia.
